Autism More Common Than Previously Thought: CDC Report Shows One in 54 Boys Identified

This story is about the recent news about the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that 1 in 88 children in the United States has been identified as having an autism spectrum disorder, according to the new study released March 29. This takes place in the Unites States. Autism is a disorder of neural development characterized by impaired social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behavior. These signs all begin before a child is three years old. Autism affects information processing in the brain by altering how nerve cells and their synapses connect and organize; how this occurs is not well understood. I feel that autism is a very bad disease and that it is sad and that now even more of the boys in America are getting this. The people that don't have autism should be happy that they don't have it. Trust me you don't want to have it. This reminds me of our school, we have many autism students and when you see them you should not laugh at them but instead you should be say hi to them and be nice to them. How would you feel if you were a autistic child? You would probably feel left out and lonely. I bet you wouldn't like that!

When here about more people getting autistic I feel very sad and hurt. And then when I see people making fun of them I get really angry. So one of the solutions that I used was that I told that person that, that person was autistic and that you should stop making fun off them. Then I told them how they would feel if they were autistic! Then the guy went to the autistic kid and apologized to him. And now he plans on joining the autistic club. So for all the people who are out their you should read this article and before you start laughing at autistic kid think about how you would feel you were an autistic kid.
